Curious about everything/Loosing focus

Hello May 🙂 First, thank you for your help and time. I am an engineer by education and I've recently started to work in an engineering design firm, I'm not very excited about the job. I managed to find an opportunity to volunteer internally in a finance project, and now I'm getting more into it and want to move to a finance job. But I feel like I constantly want to learn and try new things which is contradictory with the fact of building experience, which takes time. My goals are clear and defined, so that is fine. But do you think I may lack patience? Or should I actually give it all and rush for my higher goal? (which I believe I should more and more)
